PRESCHOOL PROGRAM
Tumbleweeds Preschool Program is broken up into two age groups.
Preschool I is designed for children turning 3 years old by October 1st. Preschool II is designed for children turning 4 years old by October 1st.
Our Preschool programs enhance preschoolers’ confidence by providing activities to help children become problem solvers and lifelong learners. Through independent exploration, structured activities, and hands-on learning, children work on early literacy, math, science, and social studies concepts. A healthy dose of running, jumping, and dancing keeps them active too.

Every day in our Preschool programs, children participate in:
-
whole-group instruction
-
small-group activities that provide skill-based learning opportunities
-
daily literacy-building activities
-
child-directed play in learning centers
-
reflection of daily experiences

Community Programs
In addition to our daily preschool curriculum, the preschool program integrates learning and exploration with community partners.
-
Miss Laura visits us once a week and leads our dance activities.
-
Mr. Chance from the Wilton Library visits us twice a month and provides hands on educational literacy to our students.
-
We walk to the Wilton Library twice a month.
-
At times we participate in local events representing the early learners of the community.
